Mend BEKO 510 WMA S Button Longer Works

start/pause/cancel button gone in on itself?

Hi there I have a BEKO washing machine 510 WMA S - 510 WMA W. The start/pause/cancel button has gone in on itself and no longer works. Any idea if this is a simple fix or whether it would need an whole new electric board and an engineer? It is no longer in warranty.
