You call it what you want mate, we all know it's that wired thing that makes a lot of noise and vexes the neighbours when it sings. :)

A lack of hold off makes me sing too especially when I've had a few,good job my nearest neighbour is totally tone deaf.

You know the facility it has that tells you the last few events in its memory. Easily deciphered with the user manual that comes with it.

Had many power cuts in those 3 years?

Rather brave of you to delve into a mains fed appliance and remove the back up power. I "ASSUME" you had isolated the mains and checked this before opening the panel?

I digress, you could be a nuclear power plant operator ( laughs a lot here, as some cannot wire a plug top, as I know !!!), and know your onions.
