My Accenta 8 alarm bell sounds as soon as I open my front door?
I have Accenta 8 Home Alarm System and replaced the internal battery recently.
Did the reset procedure and now activating the alarm is fine when exiting the front door but when returning and opening the front door the bell sounds immediately.
The door magnetic sensor works because it chimes when opening the door. There is a PIR sensor in the hallway too. Increasing the delay time doesn't solve this at all. What could be the problem? Please help
You have to set the door sensor and the PIR in the hall as entry/exit zones.

pravin you will have to make sure that the door contact is on zone 1 and the PIR in the hall is on zone 2 but you will probably have to omit it at night not knowing how your system is set up but if you put the alarm in to walk test you will have to get someone to walk through front door and see which zone comes on and in the hall as well you can reprogram the alarm or alter the wireing inside the control panel all depends how compitant you are

There was a power cut in the area and the internal battery then drained. There was no power to the keypad. Opened the control box and linked the two pins 7 and 24, I think. I followed the maual anyway.

hi pravin when you say you did the reset why did you have to reset the alarm and why did you change the battery what happened first to make you change the battery and what procedure did you do to reset the alarm
