Mend Miele Dishwasher Wash

My Miele dishwasher continues to pump at the end of its wash cycle?

The dishwasher continues to pump at the end of a wash cycle. I have been told there is a anti flood prevention system which make cause the pump to run. Is this correct & can it be fixed
