Miele dishwasher heater problem?

Not an answer but another question.

We have a Miele G876SC. The serviceman has been out twice already and the thing is still not fixed. Last time he was here he said that there was a heater fault and simply reset the computer.

Basically on the odd occasion when it does actually run it does not clean the dishes particularly well which seems to indicate that there really is a heater fault.

I have observed on other posts on this site that a relay could be the problem.

I have two questions really.

1. Where do I find this relay?
2. How do I work out these fault codes for myself given that our dishwasher only has a rotary dial and an on off switch?
