Redring Expressions 5005 Shower Fault?

Please help, we have not used our shower for a few months, went to use it last night and it cuts out after a few seconds........it will only run properly on cold function if you turn it to med or hot setting it cuts out totally but if you press the off button the cold comes out ok before switching off completely - basically it works fine on cold setting anything other than that the water spurts out fast then not at all

Hi am having a problem with water leaking out the top of the hose before it reaches the head. I've took it apart several times and can not work it out. Can anyone help?

My redring expression 5005 started to leak in the black vent tube, please anybody could help me what is the problem of my shower.

Just had ours fixed today under the guarantee. Was pulsing on and off when switching off or not switching off at all other than at the main switch. Engineer reckons it was the on/off switch which had been affected by water getting in when the shower was on. There is a new cover which fits inside the unit and protects the button.
Obviously an after thought

I spoke to Redring Technical & they identified the problem as the Phased Shut down PCB. Part No for 8.5KW model is 93550835 - cost £27.60

Promptly delivered by Redring & easily fitted. Four terminals to pull off & re connect.

My Redring Expressions 5005 Pulses / pumps intermittenttly severly when switched on when using either the high or low settings, i thought it might be a preesure fault but the pressure appears to be fine. Does anybody have an idea what the cause may be???

I purchased a new PCB (circuit board) direct from Redring as is the least expensive place to get it. Redring advised that this bit was causing the trouble, and my shower is working perfectly now, was easy to fit - it just clips in.

I just phoned Redring and they are confident that the fault is the circuit board.
The part number for my shower is 93597813 and should only cost £20 to replace this part.
They say its easily installed. Will let you know if this fixes it.

I have the exact same problem - dont think I sent in the warranty card though. Hope this is an inexpensive problem to fix!

Hi, I'am having the same problem exactly with the Redring 500S. Will be checking it out later. Are you aware of the 36 month warranty for domestic use so long as you sent in the registration card.?
