We don't know if it's been set up for engineers reset or not,nor do we know which one of the scan 9000 range op has at this stage.

But if I remember on most:

Spanner not lit = cust reset.

Spanner lit = engin reset.

And as you have already discovered,I'm the biggest spanner of them all :).

You could try the default engine code but chances are it's been changed, it's an old system now and if it's not on a maintenance contract then you should know it.

Also there's no such thing as a"scantronic 9000 series alarm".

its simple,you turn power off,open the end station and replace the 7 amp battery,but be warned,you will need the engineering code to reset the panel,do you have this?if not then you have a problem
