Hoover VHC381 Condenser Dryer stopped turning?

Hi, my tumble dryer (model above) suddenly stopped halfway through a drying load and the filter care light came on. I knew the filter was clean so I took out the large filter and ran that through with water and checked the back of the water tray and the bit on the top of the water tray that I clean with a large sewing needle usually and everything clear.

I took the back of the dryer off and the there doesn't appear to be an open circuit on the two thermostats and no obvious damage to anything there.

I opened the top and the drum is turning and the belt is around the centre of the dryer and doesn't appear to be dislodged but the dryer sounds as though it's trying to start and just can't? Almost as though the motor is trying to start or something? is there another belt somewhere or any way that I can check something else out?
