I havea creda simplicity condenser tumble dryer but the drum keeps stoppi?

I havea creda simplicity condenser tumble dryer but the drum keeps stopping. I have taken the top off and if i push the drum it gains enough momentum to get going to full speed but as soon as the drum changes dirrection it gets stuck again. Do you think it is the motor ? thnaks Al
