Neff S4453 Dishwasher Stuck on Rinse/Wash Cycle?

I have just had the PCB repaired on my Neff S4453 semi intergrated dishwasher after it failed to heat and dry properly due to a dry/blown joint on the board. When I refitted the board I noticed a dot in the bottom right hand corner of the small LED display. When I switched the machine on it began rinsing and washing and was clearly heating the water well, but it never seemed to go into drying mode as it seems to be stuck on the wash cycle i.e. drains but keeps washing with hot water even after 3 hours. I worried about throwing good money after bad. I spoke with EMW at Notts who repaired the board who think that the thermister might be causing the problem. Does this sound correct and if so how do I locate and test it?
