Mend Renault Megane 1.8 Starting Problem

Why won't my Renault Megane restart after it stops?

I have a Renault Megane 1.8 R Reg which doesn't start very well. Once I do get it started, go somewhere and stop, it won't start again and I have to wait at least 10 minutes until it will. What could the problem be?
