Renault Megane start/stop button not working correctly?

R H - you're a jerk. Your most unhelpful answer doesn't deserve the webspace its consumed. In future if you have nothing useful to add to a post ...don't bother. All you've managed to do is disappoint someone and advertise loudly that you are a jerk.

Philippa, I assume that you have checked or replaced the batteries in your card as this may be the source of the problem. It may also be worthwhile pulling the ignition fuse and re-seating it as corrosion in the fuse contacts could have occurred, although this is less likely. Good luck.

Had you types "Renault" into the search box before you bought a heap of junk, you would have seen how unreliable Renault electrics are, but now you're stuck with it. So, it's a trip to the main stealership to get it fixed, that is if they can fix it.
