My 206 sometimes cuts out when I am braking for a junction but only when I'm going 'downhill'. It isn't stalling because it occurs after the clutch is disengaged. If the heater fan is on that goes off too. There is a clicking noise from the ignition switch area as if something is 'switching off'. The car restarts with no problem and it will be ok for weeks and then for no apparent reason it will reoccur. Any help or ideas please
I have the same model car and i have exactly the same problem with it cutting out

Try cleaning the engine management ecu harness connectors... use brake cleaner spray.. the connectors are packed with silicone and tend to interrupt signal to ecu...spray with brake cleaner and then blow out using compressed air blower...please disconnect the battery before disconnecting the engine ecu... also check the manifold pressure sensor for oil contamination...
