Mend Peugeot 206 LX Wondering Help Bought

Faulty indicator 2003 Peugeot 206?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help. I have just bought a 2003 Peugeot 206 LX, but the right indicator only works when it wants to! I've tried the advice on Phil's Workbench, but it looks like the fixtures have changed on 206s from 2003 onwards and so I can't see how to remove the stalk. I'd really appreciate any help or advice. Sorry if this question has been asked before. I'm new to this forum and couldn't see it anywhere.

common problem with peugeots, you need a new comms unit.this is the whole unit wiper stalk, indicator stalk, it all comes as one. if you phone peugeot give them the last 8 numbers of your chassis number and ask them the model number of your comms unit come back here and i will tell you where to get one.

Hi, that was quick! I haven't checked the bulbs, wires or fusing because the indicator does come on, but only sometimes, so I'm guessing it's the same issue with other 206s (metal filings within the unit). I've searched online for a workshop manual, but can only find ones in other languages. I just need to find out how to safely remove the indicator stalk.

im kinda new too..lol i know it sounds stupid but have you replaced the bulbs and checked the wire// fusing?? hope this helps.. if not try google the manual and you should get upto dat one.. lewy
