how can I get my remote to work on my pvr-9510t?

my remote has just stopped working on my pvr-9510T Ihave changed the batteries but still no responce Ican opperate it manually can you help me

You can check whether or not the remote is emitting an infra-red signal by looking at the transmitting end through a digital camera while pressing a button on the remote.

That way you'll know if it’s the remote or the PVR and which one needs fixing.
