Mend Battery Batteries Work

my battery wall clock stopped. Replaced battery no luck?

I have tried replacing the battery with two different new AA batteries. Does not work with either one. Can I replace the box on the back of the clock in which the battery is placed? If new batteries don't work do I have to toss the clock?

the radio time signal from Cumbria is under maintenance from 26th march to 6th April 2012 so no signal will be received and if your clock needs the battery changed during this period it will not start again until Friday 6th April.
