How can I fix my remote control for my TV?

my samsung tv remote will not work my tv anymore i have changed the batterys and still nothing!! somebody told me i might need a code..

it could be the sensor in the remote or the tv.take the remote to the shop where you got it from to get that checked first.if thats ok it will be the sensor in the tv.but after you saying you have tried a universal one it could be tv

Well now I don't know how I managed before rempte's I still get up and change manually it gives me exercise.
Remote's are not user repairable if it is the remote that's faulty. Three things you can do
1. Search net for book on the Universsal remote you have but ensure it covers your TV if you have to purchase it.
2, Go out a purchase a new Universal remote but first ensure it covers your TV.
3. Stick with what you've got and get up and turn it over.
