Mend Murray Hp Lawn Start

briggs and stratton 12 hp motor on murry rider?

lawn mower doesn't want to start. when i put it up for the winter it started and I drove it in the shed. now after replacing the drive belt it doesn't want to fire. plug seems to be ok what else could it be, i do have some experience in working on these and it has me puzzled thanks
