I have a riding lwn mower with a Briggs & Stratton 15 hp engine model #28N707, Diamond Plus. My lawn mower will start but but the rpms have to be kept high in order for it to stay running. It also back fires.
takeing out an onan 14 hp,no governer, installing a 15 hp brigs, question, how about the wireing, with an electric clutch , is it posible to incorperate the original wireing,or would it be better to just rip out everything and start from scratch with the wiring? i worked on 10 million dollar machinery for a liveing for 40 years, might be qulafied ?
