Mend GE Spacemaker Door Place Spring

How do you fix GE Spacemaker Microwave door latch. ?

The door latch is held in place by a small spring. One end of the spring hooks in a small hole in the latch. The other end hooks in a hole in a piece of plastic on the door. The piece of plastic broke off of the door. The piece of plastic that broke off is small and very fragil. How can this be fixed.
