Mend Zanussi Aquacycle 1000 Washing Machine Drum Seal

zanussi aquacycle 1000 front seal?

i had a screw in my zanussi aquacycle 1000, it was between the drum and the outer drum, i removed it by taking the drum apart and now i can't get the seal on the front back together, the seal is attatched to the front door and the drum is in place so there's very little room to work with, god only knows how to get the spring back on in fact it looks impossible... can anyone give me step by step instructions.. please.

right here we go.take the seal completely off and put washing up liquid in to the groove in the back edge of the door gasket.carefully and slowly lip this over the front of the grey tube until it is fitted all the way around.as you say its hard to see and get access but you can feel when it has gone over the tub lip correctly.now fold the door seal in to the stainless drum out the way (back in on it's self).now feel and put the spring into the groove which is the tub edge and work your way around until it snaps in to possition (this is hard because of spring tension).now pull the door seal out from inside the stainless drum and lip it over the front cabinet edge.put the plastic band around and clamp it up tight.job done.I never thought I was going to get the first one I did back on but now love doing them.one day I will post a video on youtube of myself doing one as it is one of the most commonly asked how to question
