Mend MILA Door Spring Place

how can I fix the catch on my uvpc front door?

When I close the door, the spring which pushes the catch in place is very weak and needs replacing. How do I do this? The multi locking system which is activated by a key and lever is perfectly OK. The only name I can find on the lock is MILA

the only way to fix correctly is to replace lockstrip,but if you buy a set of handles that are spring loaded they will prevent your handles from drooping down,hope this helps
