How do I remove the door seal?

Hi,easiest way is REMOVE PLUG, remove lid (2 torx screws on each side at front under plastic prise off covers ) take out soap drawer ,remove3 screws in fascia in soap drawer recess, fascia swings away to right , remove outer door seal retainer by inserting small bladed screwdriver under spring and pulling spring and wire away from outer part of seal and pull seal outer away from door porthole, remove 2 screws from top of front panel which were behind the fascia , remove kick panel at base of m/c (prise away ) 2 screws now exposed which hold front panel in at base , undo these and front panel will lift up and away from m/c (you may have to push soap drawer compartment back slightly to allow panel to move upwards )now remove plug from door switch( make note of which way plug fits as it can be reversed by a determined fitter!) and panel is free .you can now get access to the jubilee clip which holds door seal to tub, removal is easy , refit in reverse order , and roberta is your auntie.There is another trade method which is quicker , but this is the official hotpoint training method
