My printer wont switch on?

I have an epsom stylus 130 which is only 8 months old. It just will not come on and there seems to be no power getting through. I have tried pushing the wires in and changing the socket but nothing completely silent. Only thing I hoped was that it was the fuse, I havent checked this yet but dont think thats prob as I would have thought it would have tripped the circuit as usually happens in my house. I did used to leave it on a lot.
