Mend Creda EPH1500 Radiator Switch Heating

How can I fix my Creda EPH1500 panel radiator?

The radiator has stopped working, i.e. it does not switch on anymore. I have opened it up and everything looks OK, as there is not much there. Just heating elements, themoststat, and circuit board with rotary controls for thermostat. Are faulty circuit boards or thermostats a common problem?
