Mend Hotpoint WIDXL 126 S U.K. Washing Machine Door Lock

I used the extra rinse (on my WIDXL 126 S U.K.)sinc then its gone haywire!?

Since using the extra rinse fuction, my machine has gone haywire! The on-off/door lock led flashes rapidly with two other led's. I've tried removing the connecting plug, and various other things. But all to no avail. Can anybody help me?
