Mend Peugeot 307 1.6HDi Diesel Filter Replaced

peugot 307 1.6hdi, new diesel filter, won't start?

i have replaced the diesel filter on my peugot 307 1.6hdi, 2004, now it won't start, it just turns over and over but will not start, is there a manual diesel pump or why will it not start?

Peugeot Peugeot 307 1.6HDi Vehicles, Cars Diesel Filter Replaced

you must have air in the system,you could try removing the filter again and filling it up manually with clean diesel,damage can occur to the high pressure pump if it is repeatedly cranked over with no diesel to lubricate the pump
