my sagem tv receiver/recorder stopped working ?

please advice my sagen recorder/receiver stopped working its whirring way but nothing else is happening

Strange, but I have exactly the same problem as of the last week. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes to warm up in the morning and start operating. Today taken over 1 hour and I've pulled the power cable out. V frustrating, when the kids are demanding Beebies!
