tv wont switch on?

my flatscreen tv (dmtech) has the stand by light on but nothing else is working, iv tried switching it on by the romote and by the on/off button on the unit and nothing is happening?? any ideas??

Mine is doing the same thing. Did you ever rectify the problem? Was it an issue with the power cable/adapter? That is what I am thinking the problem is with mine.
