My Sagem DVR 6400T refuses to start up. It "stops" showing "init" in the message window (has showed so for several hours) but I can hear the hard disc running or perhaps it is a cooling fan? I have disconneted the power supply for several hours to really make a cold start but it doesn't help. Can't reech the menus to make a complete factory reset. What to do?
I have just had the same problem with mine. I emailed Sagem and they said that there is a 50% chance the power supply unit is faulty. I have read the same thing on another forum. I will borrow one from a friend who has a similar machine to see if this will cure the problem.
