how to bleed a diesel transit after fitting new lift pump?

have fitted new lift pump on transit 2.5 tdi
now i cannot get the fuel to come though. have fuel at 2 and 4 but not 1 and 3

you could try a new filter and before fitting fill it to the brim with clean diesel and give it a go
