Mend Ford Transit Diesel Fuel Filter Turbo

Water in diesel fuel indicater light flashes intermittently?

94 transit lwb 2.5 turbo diesel
Water in diesel warning light comes on but when I loosened drain tap on bottom of filter nothing came out, neither fuel or water. What next? Does water still get into diesel fuel to any degree anyway?

these can be sensitive and troblesome.try replacing filter anyway and before you screw the sensor into the new filter clean the brass tip with spirit wipe.you will get a certain amount of water hence the need for a filter.
