Mend Ford Transit 100 LWB Diesel Engine Fuel Filter

1998 ford transit 100 lwb?

my 1998 ford transit 100 lwb van keeps losing power and is getting thirsty on diesel, have already had garage fit new fuel filter.
Any body got any other ideas as to the problem, was running fine after new filter fitted but now playing up again.
it has a standard 2496cc engine

How do i pull my gear box to bits. To replace the bearings?
Also i need to set the "pre- load" in it

there was a mod on leak off pipe -you had to fit blank cap on to no4 injector [remove leak off pipe to filter head] and fit new length of leak off pipe from no1 injector to old leak off connection on filter head this may solve your problem.
