There is no specific driver needed as DVD support is a core functionality, just as the ability to access the hard drive. Even the old Windows 95 could read a DVD if a DVD drive is present...
During the following process, you may be asked for the administrator password. Enter it as needed.
In the explorer, right click a drive and sellect "Properties".
(any drive will do)
Sellect the "Material" tab, find and sellect the DVD drive.
Now, click the Properties button.
In the new dialog, you should have a drop list showing "Don't use this periferal (deactivated)"
Change it to "Use this periferal (activated)"
Click OK to close everything.
