blue screen of death bad_pool_caller?

HI. running XP Home SP3 (updated recently) on a Fujitsu_Siemens laptop, my system will not start at all & gives me a BAD-POOL_CALLER blue screen with an error code of 0x 000000c2 (...) everytime just as Windows appears to have finished loading. I';ve tried the Fujitsu Recovery disc Repair option... it seems to hang at the C:\WINDOWS> command & don't know what to type next.

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks. graham

after shut down also same eroor so replaced the power supply. after that no error found and system working fine.
