Mend Microsoft Run Time Error

How do I fix a run time error?

I keep getting this message poping up when browsering..(mostly it comes up when I close my browser) . It says: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libraray .... Program: C:\programfiles\internetexplore\iexplore.exe R6025 - Pure Virtual function call.

I'd appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks so much!
