Mend Cordless Phone Handset Base

light flashing?

The green light on the base keeps flashing and on the handset there is an icon that flashes too. Anyone know how to deal with this as there is nothing in my manual

Depends on what the icon is, and make etc. On my cordless the green light on the base flashes when phone is in use.
