Main Charger base light blinks twice, stops, blinks twice & this repeates?

I have the same phone system ( one main phone line/power/charger base). When the light repeatedly blinks twice it means that a call has come in and not been answered and should be in your callers list and or a message has been left and not retrieved.

If this helps, I have a question about this same system. Main unit works but other two are unavailable even thought the other phone(s) are working and there is dial tone on other phone(s)./ Its not the battery cause I switched the good with the bad and it did not make a difference. Also, they are charging but to no avail. Can you help?
