My cordless phone no longer communicates with the base?
Hi! I have a Uniden TRU348 cordless phone. It worked perfectly for a couple years then one day I could no longer get a dial tone on the handset. A dial tone still reaches the base because the answering machine still works. I replaced the battery and fully charged it but when I press talk, it still just flashes "talk" then beeps and turns off. It's only an $80.00 phone and I've gotten my money's worth but I really like the phone and I'm pretty handy. I build guitar amplifiers for a living. I thought if there were an obvious problem, I could certainly fix it. Any advice would be much appreciated! Thanx!
I also have the same problem with a Panasonic KX-TG2344. The handsets just stopped working this morning. The handsets say that they've lost communication with the base unit and to move closer to it. The manual says to re-register them with the base unit, but that doesn't work either. Then it offers no other real help. Something's screwy with the base antennae I reckon. I'm looking for a replacement antennae for the base, or new batteries but I doubt it.

I`ve got exactly the same problem as you, except the phone is a BT Freestyle 80 Plus.
I`ve been searching the net for days without success.
Let me know if you find anything out.
