Flashing base unit and icon on handset?

I had the same problem and followed your advice and went through viewing my received calls and deleted them which resulted in the flashing light on the base unit stopped flashing. Thanks solved my problem.

hi - have been asked same q. by a relative and have not seen the phone yet but suspect it is missed calls which you have to scroll through by pressing the up or down buttons. Once you have "read" the missed call hopefully the light will go. If this is confirmed will try to remember to post.
