Mend Fisher and Paykel 918TD Door Lock Catch

F&P 918TD door won't lock ?

The lock on my Fisher and Paykel 918TD dishwasher won't lock. The catch inside the door appears to be loose and won't engage with the catch on the frame of the dishwasher. How do you remove the door cover to repair the lock - any tricks involved in doing this as it's very close to the control circuit board ?

Turn power off at wall first. Then remove the door outer panel (lower one) Then remove the screws for the top trim plastic panel. Control board will come off with the trim panel. Seperate the two then work on the trim panel to see what is broken and needs to be replaced.
