Mend Electrolux Silverado Wire Working Wires

how do I wire electrolux silverado cord reel?

I was working on the vacumn and the cord reel fell off the wires one black one gray, one white, there are only two posts. the white wire has a double connector so does the gray or blakc wire go with the white and go on one post and the other go on the other post
