simpson eziset 950 problems?

gday,ive got a simpson eziset 950 top load washing machine,it does the first wash sequence and pumps out,but the pump keeps pumping even though its empty and it wont go any further,wont re fill or spin,and when the machine is turned off it loses memory,we always run a cold wash but after being turned off it self selects a warm cycle,would appreciate any help,thanks

I have a simpson 950 eziset model number swt954
While doing the spin cycle it stopped spinning but still sounded like it was still running but with no spin but like there was a break on it or something rattling inside.

Only thing I can think of is a faulty control board. Expensive to replace. Get some one out to check it properly before going out and buying a control board.
