washing machine pumps?

im wondering whether my tricity bendix aw870 pump has a problem. it does spin but there is some resistance every revolution of the pump. is the pump u/s?? should it spin very freely?

i meant when the pump is in my hand its offering a little bit of resistance
filter and passageways have all been cleaned out

probably something stuck in the pump housing, it should be free. have you cleaned out the filter at front, check your instructions, filter is usually behind a pull off kick panel.
