Problems with Aqualtis AQGMD149?

Our Hotpoint Aqualtis aqgmd149 has started to have a door lock fault, the lock does not release at the end of a cycle and we need to use the emergency release under the kickplate to open it. It also will not register that the door is locked to start a new cycle and we have to fiddle with the release to be able to start a cycle. Since we had the machine it has always washed well but we have recently discovered a tear in the door seal and the cover front to the detergent drawer keeps falling off and now won't go back on at all but don't think these problems would effect door lock? Drum is also becoming smelly. I have tried a 90 wash and have pulled out the pump thingie under the kickplate which is clear. Any ideas!
