Mend Designair CHK60ss Cooker Extractor Hood Light

Designair CHK60ss cooker extractor hood. The light wont turn off?

The light will not turn off but it is switched off on the front panel. How do i fix this problem.. Switching off at the plus is not an option as it is located behind the chimney.
