Mend Hotpoint WMD960 Water Washes

Hotpoint WMD960 Ultima Not Heating the Water?

For the last few washes my Hotpoint WMD960 Ultima does not appear to be heating the water. The clothes come out very cold and don't seem to be as clean as previously. The screen isn't giving any error codes and is completing the cycle. What is wrong? Has the heater element broken?
