Mend Hotpoint WMS38 Washing Machine Drain Spin Cycle

Hotpoint Problem?

Hi My Hotpoint WMS38 starts off ok and washes takes the powder etc. Then it sticks before it moves onto the rinse cycle, i have taken off back chaecked pump etc and drained water i then put onto fast spin and it worked. So i put in another load and same thing happened except it wont spin not sure if because i havent taken out the water this time. Any ideas what the problem may be?

sounds like you pump not draining did you take filter right out and check its not bunged up
it is inside the black pipe cone shape you need a big screwdriver to undo pulling it down then take it out and give a good wash put back in and try see if thats it ok. dog hair is a nightmare. lol
