My Sppedfight 2 cuts out?

I recently bought a second hand Speedfight 2 Scooter. My problem is that it will start but then it seems that when it gets hot it just dies. I have charged the battery and replaced the spark plug but still no luck. I also then AA come out and they cleaned and sprayed the coil and carburetor and it ran for a while but when I tried again the next day it did the same thing. I have been told to drain the carb and then try starting it again. Please help.
