Mend Help Cooling Fan

crashing?

Please I need help, I'm beging to think satanic thoughts.

Several times my PC has crashed.
The cooling fan kicks in very fast and loud and the screen goes blank although computer still on. I shut it down by pressing and holding on/off switch then it shuts complete, other times had to unplug. Sons had look and don't what it is he does but it works for a while suddenly back to square one and crashes out again. On going now for three months and keep looking at the idle axe in my garage. Any ideas before my satanic thoughts go to action stations and I re-shape PC

yes,heres a good one,try giving more info,like the make of your computor,you are asking questions of human beings out here,not a computor,we give our time freely,but most people expect answers,but give little info,so,either use the axe on your comp,or try and ask sensible questions,you may even get a reply,or as clark gable once said,re vera,cara mia,mia ,nil revert (frankly my dear,i dont give a damb!)
